Funky Pie Ukes

New for 2025-26

HMS delivers music workshops to a whole year group, key stage or school because we believe in the power of music to improve the lives of all children and young people, no matter their background or circumstances.

Workshops provide a great opportunity for your pupils to experience playing musical instruments and creating music which could help them find their unique musical voice.

Our music workshops improve teamwork, communication skills, and problem solving as well as broadening pupils’ cultural knowledge.

Sessions can be tailored to fit topics and can really bring the learning to life for your pupils. Each region has a menu of options available and your local team will confirm the options with you directly, based on your school’s needs.

Full day: £800

Half day: £450

What’s included in the cost?

  • All instrument hire, delivery and collection.
  • All specialist staff time.
  • Travel costs.
  • Planning and preparation of bespoke sessions.
  • Certificates of participation for all pupils.

How would an example day work?

All workshops take place during the school day with 1 class involved in each individual session.

Suggested session durations are 30 minutes for EYFS and Key Stage 1, and 45-60 minutes for Key Stage 2 and 3.

This means all pupils in a one-form intake primary school could take part in music classes in a single day. Larger schools would need to book more days to reach their whole school or sessions can be tailored to single key stages.
