Building a resilient community of early years music practice in Hertfordshire.
Experiential professional development days for musicians and early years practitioners to develop their musical play practice with and for very young children.
Through playful workshops we will consider how we can support and nurture our own playful practice to develop sensitive musical play. We will explore musical interaction, improvisation and how we might scaffold this through playful environments, minimising adult-talk and creating provocations for very young children to investigate through their musical play.

Below is a video is a representation of the early years' practitioner music training days. In partnership Youth Music, Hertfordshire Music Service and Magic Acorns CIC are creating spaces for children, families and educators to flourish in Early Years settings together.
