The terms and conditions governing half term music making days are intended to complement, but not supersede, the general terms and conditions of our services. By participating in a trial lesson, you acknowledge that all provisions outlined in the general terms and conditions remain in full effect and applicable to your engagement.
1. Booking and fees
1.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.2. Fees are non-refundable except in the case of course cancellation by the provider.
1.3. All half term music making days must be booked in advance of attending.
2. Course Cancellation
2.1. The provider reserves the right to cancel the course if the minimum number of participants is not met.
2.2. Participants will be notified of cancellation at least 10 days before the course start date.
2.3. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to all participants and will be made through the original mode of payment only.
2.4. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations once the course has commenced.
3. Acceptable behaviour
3.1. Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
3.2. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the course without a refund.
3.3. The provider reserves the right to define what constitutes unacceptable behaviour.

4. Student supervision and late arrivals (including. early drop off)
4.1. HMS are not responsible for escorting participants to or from the half term music making days.
4.2. Customers are responsible for the participant’s arrival and departure.
4.3. Half term music making days will not be extended due to late arrival.
4.4. If the half term music making workshop(s) start later, due to an HMS delay, the session time will be extended.
4.5. Early drop off will only be accepted with a prior booking.
5. Liability and duty of care
5.1. HMS has a duty of care for participants only during the duration of the half term music making days.
5.2. Outside of the workshops, all responsibility for the student’s safety, if under 18, rests with the parents or guardians. This includes within the music premises and surrounding areas (e.g. grass verges and car parks).
5.3. HMS accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, physical and/or emotional damage, or loss during the half term music making days unless caused directly by HMS negligence.
5.4. Customers must inform HMS of any relevant medical conditions prior to the half term music making days at the point of booking.
5.5. HMS does not accept any liability for loss or damage to customer or students' instruments or personal belongings during the half term music making days or any other HMS activities.
6. Data protection
6.1. Personal data provided for the half term music making days will be used solely for communication regarding the lesson and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
