Welcome to the HMS ensemble membership.
Making music with others is fun, exciting, and rewarding, and taking part in group music making activities (ensembles) can be a great way to make positive progress on your musical journey.
Our ensemble membership offer is designed to be a cost-effective way to allow you to take part in more music making activities with others. We do this by giving access to a range of our music centre ensembles for one fixed termly price, as an alternative to paying for each ensemble individually.
The membership costs £109 per term, and allows you the freedom to sign up for as many ensembles as you want across each of our music centres without additional fees. This means that as soon as you join two ensembles you begin to save money, and the more you join the bigger the saving gets.
You can still access ensembles individually and the prices for individual ensembles are:

This shorter ensemble length only applies to ensembles where a shorter length is needed for specific educational purposes, such as early years or SEND.

If you want to join the HMS ensemble membership all you need to do is select it when signing up for music lessons, then as you sign up for each ensemble individually it gets added to the membership programme.
Our County Groups, such as the County Youth Orchestra, Hertfordshire School Symphony Orchestra, and the County Youth Choir, are not included in the HMS ensemble membership package due to the additional, advanced level of support from nationally recognised contributors.
